Casting | The Basic Outline

• When starting out with my kids on the journey of casting we began with an outline.  I wrote them down, much like when teaching them sentence structure.  We are currently working on each part so I'm confident they truly understand each part.

  When writing a ritual for your self there are some basic things you will want to do...

  
  Cleanse the area and cast the circle
  
  Call the elements to your ritual space
  
  Invoke the gods and goddess! (you can invite the ancestors to join as well)
  
  Meditation
   

  Magical working
  
  Cakes an ale
  
  Thanking of the gods the goddesses the ancestors and the elements for attending *or being a witness* to your rite..
  
  Releasing of the gods and the goddess
  
  Releasing of the elements
  
  Releasing of the circle...
  
  At this time i usually cleanse the area once more just incase something negative lingered!

  When you are closing a circle your are making a circle of protective energy to protect you while you are in it. what you will want to do is start in the east with air then walk around the circle to the south then west then north and back to east! you can say something as simple as i cast this circle in a time out of time i cast this circle in a realm outside of a realm.. i cast this circle so that all who are in it are protected .. i cast this circle! so mote it be!

  When you are opening a circle you walk in reverse east north west south east ... you can say i ground all energy from this circle into the earth so that it may be purified and be returned to the mother.

Triple Gem Stone Luck Spell

What you'll need:

* 1 small wooden box with a lid
* 3 small stones (aventurine, amethyst, garnet, citrine, tourmalated quartz, agate, tourmalie & peridot are all great for good luck.)
* A small piece of paper
* A green pen
* 1 green candle
* Jasmine or Honeysuckle incense

Do this spell on the new moon or when the moon is waxing.

Prepare your altar, and cast a circle.

Light the incense

Light the Green candle

Meditate for a few minutes to still your mind. Close your eyes and sit at your altar for this.

Place your hands over the wooden box, and say:

"By the powers of the Earth,
By the powers of the Air
By the powers of the Fire
By the powers of the Water,
I empower this box. with the
ability to assist me in my spells
So mote it be."


Write a short note about bringing luck into your home and life.

Roll up the paper and place it in the box.

Visualize the experience you wrote on the paper, your life being filled with good luck and the kinds of things that you want to happen for you.

Hold each stone in your hand one by one and say:

" Lord, Lady, and Universe
send good luck my way."

Place each stone into the wooden box.

Snuff out the green candle (never blow out the candle, it is considered disrespectful).

Repeat your visualization with hands over the box everyday for one week or until the full moon.

On the night of the full moon, open up the wooden box and allow it to stay open for exactly one hour. This will release the energy you have built up inside the box.

Carry the gemstones with you any time you want to attract some good luck. It's best to keep them in a small pouch and carry it on you all of the time.
